Netgear Arlo 


Netgear Arlo Wire-Free Camera is like a basic camera with Wi-Fi enabled security system in it. To use this camera, you need a base station and a powerful outlet by which you can connect it to the router. Netgear Arlo camera runs on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wifi signals. The Night vision inbuilt in the camera can focus up to 20-25 feet only. The camera is completely water-resistant and it can detect motion with the help of the PIR device. The Netgear Arlo camera can record 4K HD quality videos; you can adjust sensitivity as per the choice and requirement of the user. The user can view previously recorded and saved clips. The camera comes with non-rechargeable batteries which can work properly up to 4 months and they can’t be charged and used again. 


Arlo Camera Offline

 

If your Arlo camera is offline after you switched to a new router or made changes to your Internet network, press and release the Sync button on the Arlo Smart Hub or base station. The Internet LED blinks for 10 seconds, and then your Arlo camera resumes normal operation. Remove and reinsert your batteries and notice the camera’s LED changing colors when the battery is inserted again.

If the LED doesn’t light then you should check that the batteries are inserted properly or not. Also, check that the batteries you inserted are working or dead. 

The LED starts blinking blue when the camera successfully synced to a base station.

If the LED blinks blue only once and then stopped then you have to re-sync the camera.

If the LED blinks AMBER then this is the indication to change the batteries.

You should check the camera connectivity.

The distance between the camera and the Wifi router should not exceed 300 feet (90 meters). If the router is far from the router than place it closer to the camera.


If the LED on your base station is solid green, then the base station is connected to the Internet.

If the LED is amber, the base station is not connected to the Internet. Check that the Ethernet cable is connected to a LAN or not.

Make sure that the camera is synced to the App.

Check the App library for your previous recorded videos. If a camera is not synced then remove and reinsert the camera battery and sync the camera.
